Position Summary
Fatbeam is looking for an experienced Sales leader to lead, manage, and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives. The Senior Sales Director will set strategic direction for the sales team and ensure the attainment of sales & revenue goals. This individual will demonstrate a successful track record of building and leading sales teams in the enterprise telecommunications space. The Senior Sales Director will provide reps with professional and technical advice on business applications to ensure they are equipped to solve customer business issues. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching the sales team to successfully hunt and prospect for new logo customers. The Senior Sales Director will report directly to the Fatbeam VP of Sales. The ideal candidate will work out of the Fatbeam HQ office located in Coeur d’Alene, ID, or out of their home office within one of the Fatbeam sales markets.
Position Responsibilities
- Help recruit, interview, hire, train and guide Sales team.
- Working knowledge of telecommunications fiber technology preferred.
- Proven leader that is engaged with their sales team and can frequently assist in sales calls and presentations either in person or via video meeting.
- Develop sales plans designed to meet or exceed customer growth and revenue projections.
- Monitor individual rep performance to identify areas for improvement and reinforce behaviors that lead to success.
- Expected to spend a substantial amount of time in the specific markets where each of the Sales team members reside.
- Coach and direct sales team on specific sales prospecting techniques such as Cold Calling, Email Prospecting, Networking, Social Selling, and Door Knocking.
- Engage in one-on-one strategic business meetings with sales reps.
- Plan and execute bi-weekly sales meetings.
- Conduct routine performance evaluations of sales reps and provide performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Help design and price solutions for customers.
- Partner with pre-and post-sales support to enhance customer relationships, deliver solutions and increase revenue.
- Directs sales activities with sales reps related to their respective group of assigned accounts and new logo targets.
- Provide weekly reports on funnel, sales call activity and 30/60/90-day forecasts.
- Develop, establish, and coach team to follow a disciplined sales process and methodology relating to the sales funnel. Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
- Assist sales reps to strategically build a sufficient sales pipeline in order to meet monthly sales objectives.
- Ability to assist with the creation of business cases and the evaluation of financial ROI models relating to Fatbeam fiber growth projects.
- Strengthen and develop the company’s culture and serve as a role model for expected behaviors.

Additional information
Fatbeam requires a background check and the acceptance of basic non-compete documents for all employees. The background check takes 3-5 days. This offer would be pending upon the results of the background check.
