Position Summary

The Sales Data Analyst bridges the gap between data, systems, and sales strategy. This position is ideal for a recent computer science, or data analytics graduate eager to apply technical and analytical skills in a business environment. The role supports sales, GIS, and operations teams by maintaining data integrity, improving reporting processes, and translating data into actionable insights. This position will be Hybrid in Coeur d’Alene and will report to our Director of Digital Transformation & Automation.

Position Responsibilities:

Database & Data Management

  • Work with relational databases to maintain accurate, consistent data.
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
  • Understand primary and foreign keys, joins, and relationship structures.
  • Assist with database design and data modeling to improve reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with GIS team members to ensure accurate geographic and market data alignment.

Python & Technical Learning

  • Use Python to automate data processes and handle analysis tasks.
  • Work with APIs to retrieve data from platforms like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and CoStar.
  • Add to existing codebases and improve current workflows.
  • Continuously grow technical proficiency in data tools and automation techniques.

Communication & Visualization

  • Translate data insights into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track sales performance, pipeline status, and geographic activity.
  • Present findings to leadership and team members with clarity and visual impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align data objectives and communication.

CRM & Sales Tool Support

  • Support the Salesforce Administrator with database maintenance, user training, and data quality assurance.
  • Help manage tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, CoStar, and ConnectBase.
  • Provide onboarding and documentation for sales enablement platforms.
  • Ensure data consistency across all sales tools, GIS systems, and connected platforms.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain Salesforce dashboards for KPIs, pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Deliver analytics that identify patterns and business opportunities.
  • Support leadership with ad hoc reporting and data-driven recommendations.

Sales Operations & GIS Support

  • Plot and identify business passings related to Proactive Builds, particularly in new or developing areas.
  • Coordinate Near Net map refreshes in GIS systems.
  • Maintain refreshed Near Net lists in ConnectBase on at least a quarterly or bi-monthly basis.
  • Send updated Near Net data to external carrier partners, ensuring formats meet each carrier’s requirements.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Implement process enhancements related to reporting, automation, GIS integration, or data quality.
  • Support adoption of new tools or systems that enhance team performance.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and GIS departments to maintain data accuracy and alignment across all systems.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel with a strong understanding of data structures.
  • Familiarity with Python and a desire to develop stronger coding skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce, GIS, or other CRM/analytic platforms preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional information

Fatbeam requires a background check and the acceptance of a basic non-compete documents for all employees. The background check takes 3-5 days. This offer would be pending upon the results of the background check.
