Position Summary
The Senior Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the project management function within OSP Construction. This role ensures disciplined execution across all business unit deliveries, driving accountability for cost, schedule, scope, and quality performance. The Senior Manager establishes standardized project management practices, strengthens forecasting accuracy, and creates operational clarity across markets. This position serves as the operational bridge between field execution and leadership, translating project performance into actionable insight while removing barriers to consistent, on-time, and on-budget delivery. The Senior Manager reports directly to the VP of OSP Construction.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers across all business units, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability standards.
· Build organizational bench strength through structured development planning and succession planning within the PM function.
· Foster a culture of ownership, delivery discipline, and data-driven decision-making across all projects.
· Maintain program-level visibility into schedule, cost, risk exposure, and resource capacity across markets.
· Hold Project Managers accountable to defined execution standards, milestones, and financial targets.
· Intervene when projects deviate from plan, driving corrective actions and recovery strategies.
· Escalate systemic risks, recurring performance gaps, and resource constraints with recommended solutions.
· Establish and maintain standardized project management processes, reporting structures, dashboards, and KPIs.
· Improve forecasting accuracy and reduce late-stage schedule and budget surprises. Identify and eliminate recurring operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and rework.
· Partner cross-functionally with Sales, OSP Engineering, Network Engineering, and other departments to align commitments with delivery capacity.
· Resolve cross-departmental conflicts that impact delivery performance and operational efficiency.
Experience / Education / Minimum Requirements
· 5+ years of progressive experience in project or program management, with demonstrated team leadership responsibility.
· Experience leading multiple concurrent projects across different markets or business units.
· Strong financial acumen, including budget management and forecasting.
· Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams.
· Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
· Full-time salaried position; flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
Other Skills/Abilities
· Experience in telecommunications or large-scale infrastructure deployment preferred.
· CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
· Strong analytical capabilities with experience building performance dashboards and KPI frameworks.
· Demonstrated ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
· Ability to translate operational data into executive-level insight and strategic recommendations.
· Experience implementing standardized processes in multi-market or high-growth environments.
