Position Summary

The Project Manager for FTTH (fiber to the home) is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and successful execution of assigned FTTH deployment projects. This position ensures project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met. The Project Manager works closely with internal teams including Engineering, Construction, Networking, Customer Solutions, and Field Services, driving task completion across all team members to deliver projects on time and within scope. The role also provides exceptional stakeholder engagement, maintaining strong communication with leadership, vendors, and external partners. This position reports directly to the FTTH PMO Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned FTTH deployment projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, and reports that provide visibility into project performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities within internal teams and with external vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring accountability, accurate billing, and timely invoicing.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, deliverables, and risks, escalating issues proactively while recommending solutions and supporting process improvements that increase efficiency and consistency across FTTH projects.
  • Manage and lead the FTTH Construction Management team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and accountability for safety, workmanship, and build quality.
  • Lead project meetings, document action items, and ensure commitments are met.

Experience / Education / Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of project management experience, including managing or leading a team
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and efficient in managing multiple priorities
  • Estimated field travel up to 10%, primarily regional and project-based
  • Full‐time salaried position; flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Clean driving record required

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically competitive fiber service providers
  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with GIS and Google Earth
  • Understanding of national standards associated with fiber construction
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and subcontractors effectively, driving accountability and performance
  • Skilled at translating technical requirements into actionable plans that improve efficiency, consistency, and project outcomes

Additional information

Fatbeam requires a background check and the acceptance of a basic non-compete documents for all employees. The background check takes 3-5 days. This offer would be pending upon the results of the background check.
